What the extension records
Senvail records hostnames, categories of observed activity, timestamps, and local tab identifiers. It does not collect page contents, full request URLs, query strings, cookie values, storage values, microphone recordings, camera images, location coordinates, or canvas pixel data.
Where records live
Current-page reports stay in browser session storage, with at most 200 distinct signals per page, 2,000 total signals, and 100 page reports. Older reports may be trimmed to stay within browser storage limits. Local history retains at most 50 signals per site and 1,000 total, for up to seven days. Cleanup runs when the extension starts and on its daily alarm; if the browser is closed, cleanup resumes when it next runs. Site controls and the installed tracker rules persist until removed. Clear History removes this site's recorded activity; uninstalling removes extension storage. Incognito activity, when you explicitly enable the extension there, is excluded from persistent history.
Network connections
Browsing events are not sent to Senvail servers. Our tracker-list update API is hosted by Render at senvail-rules-api.onrender.com and receives requests for tracker-list updates; Render can receive normal connection information such as your IP address. The extension does not include browsing activity in those requests. This website uses no analytics or third-party fonts. It is also hosted by Render, which can receive standard connection metadata and request logs. See Render’s privacy policy for its practices.
Use of activity data
Local activity records support the reports and site controls you see in Senvail. They are not sold, sent to advertising services, or used for credit decisions. Senvail's use of browser data is limited to these user-facing features, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy's Limited Use requirements. Remote tracker updates contain data, not executable code.
Support and privacy questions
Contact support@senvail.com for help or privacy questions. Support email is forwarded through Namecheap to a Gmail inbox. Those providers process the message and sender information to deliver it. We use messages to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or private browsing history. See our support guide for troubleshooting.
What observations mean
Browser network events establish that a request was observed. They do not establish its final outcome, and some blocked requests are not visible. Page instrumentation reports supported canvas, WebGL, offline audio, sensitive-access and storage calls. These calls also have legitimate uses. Page signals can be altered or suppressed by a website, and code running in workers or unsupported browser contexts may not be observed.
Browser permissions and protection
Senvail cannot establish whether a camera, microphone, or location grant is active. Browser permission controls remain authoritative. Tracker blocking covers a reviewed domain list, not all tracking. Pausing or allowing a site applies to its registrable domain and subdomains. The activity score summarizes recorded categories; it is not a safety rating or proof that an unobserved site is safe.
Tracker list attribution
The updated list includes an adapted subset of EasyPrivacy by The EasyList authors, distributed under CC BY-SA 3.0. Senvail selects compatible third-party domain rules, omits affected domains where exceptions apply, and combines them with independently documented vendor endpoints. This is not the full EasyPrivacy list and does not imply endorsement. Source details and the adapted data are available in the rules feed.
Preview and payments
Purchases are disabled in the preview build. If a future release offers checkout, Stripe will process payments under its own policies, and installation, support, cancellation, and terms links must be provided before checkout is enabled. The current extension contains no account or subscription entitlement service.
